The asymmetrical shape of the Maxx 4a cabinet also allows use as a powered floor stage monitor.
The FBT Maxx 4a is a two-way design incorporating a B&C 12” low frequency woofer with neodymium magnet
and a B&C 1.4” High frequency driver coupled to a 90°H x 60°V horn. The active internal crossover is at a
fixed frequency of 1.8k. With a frequency range of 50Hz - 20kHz, the Maxx 4a provides hi fidelity sound for both
speech and music applications with a maximum SPL of 123 dB. A front face steel grille protects the woofer from
external damage. FBT’s ADAP® Advanced Dynamic Active Protection circuitry protects speaker/driver
components against failure. The Bi amplified Maxx 4a active speaker features a 300w RMS Class D (PWM)
Pulse Width Modulation low frequency amp, and a 100 w RMS Class AB high frequency amp. The control panel
features a master volume control, preamp gain control, 3 band EQ with + - 15dB of cut/boost @ 80Hz LF, 12 dB

The FBT HI Maxx 40a speaker features lightweight, yet rugged gas injected molded polypropylene cabinet construction.
The asymmetrical shape of the HI Maxx 40a cabinet also allows use as a powered floor stage monitor.
The FBT HI Maxx 40a is a two-way design incorporating a custom FBT designed, B&C manufacturered 12” low frequency woofer with neodymium
magnet and a B&C 1.7” High frequency driver coupled to a 90°H x 60°V horn. The active internal crossover is at a fixed frequency of 1.6k. With a
frequency range of 45Hz – 20kHz, the HI Maxx 40a provides hi fidelity sound for both speech and music applications with a maximum SPL of 127 dB.
A front face steel grille protects the woofer from external damage. FBT’s ADAP® Advanced Dynamic Active Protection circuitry protects speaker/driver
components against failure. The Bi amplified HI Maxx 40a active speaker features a 500w RMS Class D low frequency amp, and a 150w RMS Class G
high frequency amp. The control panel features a master volume control, 3 band EQ with +- 15dB of cut/boost @ 80Hz LF, 12 dB of cut/boost @2.5k

Product Description
The FBT Jolly Series speakers feature lightweight, yet rugged gas injected molded polypropylene cabinet
construction.
The asymmetrical shape of the Jolly 12ra cabinet also allows use as a powered floor stage monitor.
The FBT Jolly 12ra is a two-way design incorporating a 12” low frequency woofer and a 1” High frequency
driver coupled to a 90°H x 60°V horn. The active internal crossover is at a fixed frequency of 2k. With a
frequency range of 60Hz - 20kHz, Jolly 12ra provides hi fidelity sound for both speech and music
applications with a maximum SPL of 121 dB. A front face steel grille protects the woofer from external
damage. FBT’s ADAP® Advanced Dynamic Active Protection circuitry protects speaker/driver components
against failure. The Bi amplified Jolly 12ra active speaker features a 150w RMS Class G low frequency amp,
and a 50 w RMS Class G high frequency amp. The control panel features a volume control, a balanced
Neutrik® input combo jack (female XLR, ¼” TRS, ¼”), balanced XLR link output jack, and ground lift switch,
power on and Limiter LED indicator.
The two M-10 fly points built into the cabinets, along with the optional Box 112 mounting brackets allow the
Jolly 12ra speakers to be surface mounted on walls or ceilings. A standard 1⅜ speaker stand socket allows
the Jolly 12ra to be mounted on speaker stands.

field monitoring use.
